Coming to the walls of The Grill this month a very entertaining exhibit by Ottawa photographer Laura Zentner laurazentner@rogers.com. “The Fishmongers” feature staff of Pelican Fishery & Grill. Favorites include “Noam and the Mackerel”, “Fred, Shaggy and the Lobster” and of course everyone’s favorite fishmonger/ Ice cream maker Herbert Daly. Catch them starting July 7th.

Chef and sommelier Trish Donaldson’s achievements include an excellent review at The Black Cat Bistro on Murray from noted critic Anne DesBrisay. She recently returned from a culinary tour of Europe that included stops in Spain, France and England. After returning from Europe, Trish worked with Ottawa’s critically acclaimed chef John Taylor at Domus Café. The entire staff of Pelican Fishery & Grill is thrilled to welcome Trish!

From sashimi grade tuna to wild pacific salmon to fresh wild lake Erie pickerel fillet we try to offer a wide variety of seasonal fish.The market has been in operation since 1985 our philosophy is "to provide our customers with superior food quality, excellent service and good value". We cut the fish to suit your dish. |
